Lutheran Social Services of New England (LSSNE) has been finding homes for children for more than 135 years. Our charity work began in 1871 with the Martin Luther Orphans' Home at Brook Farm, in West Roxbury, Massachusetts.
Today, Adoption Services is just one of LSSNE's 58 social ministry programs, which together touch thousands of lives each day of the year. Beyond adoption, LSSNE’s charitable programs serve older adults, refugees, teen mothers and their children, adults with disabilities, mental illness and deafness, therapeutic foster care children and teens, and low-income families.
Lutheran Social Services of New England is a member of Lutheran Services in America (LSA), one of the nation's largest charities. The social ministries of LSA constitute a nationwide network larger than the Salvation Army, the Red Cross and Catholic Charities.
We’re also a member of the Lutheran Adoption Network, a national partnership of thirty Lutheran adoptions agencies serving families across the country and children around the world.
A portion of each and every adoption fee collected supports our charitable adoption projects aimed at improving the lives of children, both here and abroad.
With adoption offices in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island, and partner agencies in states across the country, LSSNE facilitates the adoption process with professionalism and sensitivity to the needs of all parties, offering support before, during, and after adoption to families nationwide.
Choose Lutheran Social Services of New England for all your adoption needs.
