Meetings for this unqiue group of adopted teens, facilitated by a young adult adoptee. Group discussion and social activities planned monthly. New members are welcome. Requested donation $15 per session. Pre-registration required by calling LSS CT office 860-257-9899 or emailing Lynn Gabbard.
This parent group will meet at the same time as Teen Group (above). Adolescence is often difficult enough and adoption clearly influences the normal tasks of adolescence including separation from parents, identity development and sexuality. Come discuss and strategize with other adoptive parents and plan ongoing meetings, speaker presentations, etc. Requested donation: $10 per session per session.
