Domestic: Traditional Infant Adoption

For New England families only

Traditional Infant Adoption is an adoption in which the birthmother selects the family to parent her child. Expectant mothers who chose to make an adoption plan for their child may select from among the families already home studied and prepared for adoption by our agency. The family and birthparent are given an opportunity to meet and to plan together for the baby's birth and placement. In most situations, on-going contact between the birthmother and the adoptive family is maintained through the agency.
